Today we hopped on a bus and headed to Pompeii… what an overwhelming experience… not just the sheer devastation that befell it – but the unexpectedly advanced society they had in 79AD! It was mind boggling! … Actual streets, and dwellings, and running water (if you were rich enough)… commerce and organised civilisation… amazing!
